This video is going to follow me throughout a day in my life. It will open with a door opening. Next a shot of my emergence from bed. Putting the alarm clock on sleep. Again. Again. Getting up. The shots will be close ups and cycled fairly quickly. Feet going into slippers. Walking down the stairs. Starting to make breakfast. A shot of the burner of the stove turning on. Flame ignites and starts to heat up the tea pot. Again with the frying pan. Toast is set in the toaster. Eggs are cracked onto the frying pan. Tea pot starts to whistle. Toasts pops out of the toaster. Eggs are removed from the frying pan. These shots are all close ups and will not linger long on the subject. Shot of food being eaten, as if in first person. Dishes will be placed in the sink. The walk back up the stairs will be filmed. Shower valves being turned, and toothbrush being operated. All filmed in the same style as the breakfast. Certain parts of clothes being put on - the ones that hold the others together like a belt being tightened and shoe laces being tied. Next the decent back down the stairs is shot. This shot of walking up and down the stairs will be the only one thats different. It will be a long shot and also be longer in duration. Hand opening the door, the door closing, and then the key twisting the lock shut. Next the walk to campus will happen. Different clips of the commute will be shown, as if in first person, like the breakfast. Then the hand on the door of the library, opening the door. Hand on the back of the chair, pulling it out. Hand pulling things out of my backpack. Hand plugging in my computer into an outlet. Opening the computer. Turning it on. Pulling a book out of my backpack, opening it. These will all be quick, close-up shots. Shots of the book and computer being brought out and opened will be "collated" they will not be in order. More quick close shots of pages turning, mouse clicking, and pen doodling. Close ups of random doodles and then a few pages of notes and practise problems. Some long shots of walking to the water fountain. It turning on and noises of drinking with a shot of drinking. Then more quick close shots of computer closing, notes closing, and backpack being packed back up. Shots of a place to eat lunch at. Shots of a sandwich being eaten in the same style that breakfast was eaten, but this time not makeing it, because it will be purchased from a store. Some shots of traffic going by on Forbes and people milling around. Then the walk home. It will be shot in a similar fashion. Upon returning home, the style will transform. Shots will be less chronilogical and make less logical sense, because the work for the day will have been finished. Most of this will be achieved through editing. There will be a shot of the fan moving and people jumping, in between the camera and the fan. Shots of fish in a fish tank, being fed and eating. Shots of dinner. These shots will be the same general style, of close up, but will not be in logical order and will vary more in length. Other close shots of this segment will be: someone smiling, consumption of an alcoholic beverage, tv running, music playing out of stereo, chopsticks drumming, couches falling, and shoes being thrown. This will be a strange segment, but it will appeal to the theme of the course. It will end the same way it began with a door closing.
