Apart from the offensive and hilarious content of this site, I really enjoy the monochromatic color scheme and compositon of the site. Even the images on the homepage match the color scheme of light blue and silver, which keep the entire page very bright. Additionally, the full bordering makes the site feel neatly arranged.

Insomnia
This site is absolutely gorgeous to me. The readability of white text on a black background is something that I will stick to in my site, but what I also like is the constantly changing banner on the top of the page. It stays on theme with his philosophic videogame writing, and isn't static, which keeps readers engaged from the first glance if his lofty writing and constant Nietzche quoting wasn't enough for you.

Octopus Pie
This site I admire for it's entire design cohesiveness. The visual design of the site lines up with the narrative content of the comic and doesn't overwhelm the first-time reader. Additionally, there is a clear summary at the top of the page that immediately describes the page and the content within, even giving the user a jumping off point if they are interested. The accessibility of this page is something I hope to emulate.
