For 11.11.11, I will be going to the 2012Pittsbrugh event, which will happen at the North Shore River Park on November 11, 2011. It's a celebration of peace and unity in Pittsburgh, acknowledging the Mayan calendar's December 21, 2012 (when they claimed the world would end). I will do this by first filming the skyline (establishing shot, letting us know we're in Pittsburgh) and then film a sign that will most likely be nearby so that the audience knows where it's being filmed, why it's being filmed, and what's being filmed. Then I'll film the mediation circles and the drum ceremonies. According to the website, this will all take place in the span of an hour or so.

"What is 2012 about? Well, let's just go to the bottom line. It is the end of a cycle. A major turning point. There have been many cycles. Some 26,000 years in the making, others 36,000 years in process. The year 2012 is a culmination point of these cycles. The new cycle happens at the same time the Aquarian Age happens. We have stepped out of the Piscean Age and into the Aquarian Age. The Aquarian Age is an age of working in Unity.
